Fight! Fight!

Last night, Prince Fielder decided that he was going to prove to the whole world that he is a team leader by shoving one of his teammates into the bench in the dugout.  Less than a week after Steve Smith gets suspended for two games for punching a teammate at practice (we talkin’ ’bout practice!), Fielder showed how tough he is by assaulting one of his “family members”.

Nice job, Prince.  Now, I will admit freely that I am a Cubs fan, and seeing Brewer chaos always makes me chuckle.  But the way you assaulted, nay blindsided him, was chicken sh*t.  You just don’t do that.  Arguments that escalate into scuffles are one thing, but shoving a guy as he walks by is just plain BS.  I know you are under so much pressure to perform, but there is no place for this in baseball.  Yeah, you are in a bit of a hot streak personally, but your TEAM (read, your family) has gone into a spiral as of late.  And that is how you react, by punking out one of your teammates (family members) in front of pretty much the entire internet.  Nice work.  Don’t be surprised when you don’t get that contract extension that you were looking for.  I bet the Rangers would be happy to sign you when your time is up.
