As a lifelong Yankee hater, it causes great pain to say that they are a classy organization (sometimes). That being said, let me say that what they did at Virginia Tech was tremendous.

I really do not want to tarnish this story, please just read it and understand that sometimes it doesn’t matter who you are or what team you follow; healing is healing. I still will root against them as hard as ever, but I applaud them for this.
